2nd Liver Interventional
Oncology Meeting
5 - 7 October 2023
Ljubljana, Slovenia

Welcome
Dear colleagues, friends and associates,
I am pleased to invite you to the 2nd Liver Interventional Oncology meeting with international participation – LIO2023, organized by the Slovenian Association of Radiology in cooperation with the radiology department of the Faculty of Medicine Ljubljana and ERA Institute. The event will be held at the Cankar Hall congress and culture center in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Meeting will be held in English.
Interventional oncology has emerged as the fourth pillar of liver cancer therapy alongside medical, surgical, and radiation oncology care, and is the youngest and fastest-growing offshoot of interventional radiology. Our aim is to organize an interdisciplinary scientific event with lectures and delegates from different clinical professions involved in the treatment of liver lesions. The meeting will include international and Slovenian speakers, educational hands-on workshops, and satellite symposiums, with a focus on providing established therapies, the latest research, and the newest technologies.
This meeting will be one of the largest gatherings dedicated to liver interventional oncology in the Adriatic region. It is intended for specialists and residents in radiology, oncology, gastroenterology, surgery, radiation oncology, nuclear medicine, and other branches of medicine, as well as nurses, radiological technologists, and students. We invite all interested parties to actively participate and submit abstract in a timely manner.
We believe that this event will provide a unique opportunity to learn from leading experts in the field, share knowledge and experience, and network with colleagues from around the world. We look forward to welcoming you to Ljubljana for LIO2023.
For more details please get in touch with us.
Sincerely,
